In addition to the NexGoal company page and our group, NexGoal-Athlete Career Services , the addition of three spotlight pages have enabled our audience to specify what type of content they are looking for while on LinkedIn.
The social media giant associated with career networking introduced these dedicated pages which “allow companies to highlight different aspects of their business and build relationships with the right community.” According to LinkedIn, “whether it’s a brand, a business unit, or an initiative, following a Showcase page will provide you the updates you are most interested in.”
Our Athlete-Candidate’s page will share job announcements, tips, and news with active and passive job seekers and networkers. The Corporate Clients page will be populated by industry news and announcements, and the Franchising Opportunity page will feature information on NexGoal’s expansion as a company and its continuous educational efforts as an athlete franchisor.
“These spotlight pages target particular audiences and allow people to learn about different segments of our company, enabling readers to have a specific source while on LinkedIn,“ said marketing coordinator Bernadette Vielhaber. “With links back to the NexGoal website and a layout similar to Facebook and Google+, the familiar look will hopefully encourage visitors to follow those pages for the content most related to their career and professional goals.”
