How We Helped A Former Mount Union Football Player Find His Next Step
At NexGoal, we take the placing of our athlete-candidates in their new careers very seriously – which is why our project coordinators spend so much time working with each candidate to put them in the best position to succeed. Once our candidates are placed, we like to take the time to share that candidate’s experience will all of you.
Recently, Brittany Brady had the opportunity to work with former University of Mount Union football player, Sherman Wilkinson. Wilkinson wanted to take the next step in his sales career with one of our valued clients, so he turned to NexGoal. Sherman joins the growing list of former athletes we have helped place into new careers.
When we asked Wilkinson about why he wanted to work with NexGoal and what he enjoyed most about working with us, he said, “The professionalism that Brittany displayed reaching out to me and I was really intrigued in how they help athletes find jobs. I enjoyed how engaged NexGoal was in the whole process from the beginning until the end. I loved how they explained the job description in detail as to what the day-to-day job would require.”
Next, we asked Wilkinson what he enjoyed most about working with his project coordinator. “It was phenomenal working with the coordinator [Brittany Brady]. It truly shows the value in that they truly care about helping you find a job that would best suit you.”
Finally, we asked him why others should use NexGoal to help find their next career. He said:
“I don’t think that you find many companies that truly care about walking you through the [job application] process in making sure that you’re successful.”
The team here at NexGoal would like to thank Sherman for his kind words, and we wish him the best of luck in his new career as a Cyber Security and Sales Development Representative!
