In 2013, NexGoal continued to focus on its unique brand – placing our athlete-candidates with a host of corporate clients. We also focused on how we can serve both the candidate and the client even after the position is filled through redesigning our website and focusing on content that serves our audiences.
As experienced search consultants, we shared insight into the process, and in particular, how to secure top talent through partnerships with our corporate clients. NexGoal and other search firms must effectively communicate to their clients that in order to secure the top talent, especially for technical and skilled positions, there must be a sense of urgency to move quickly on these candidates once they’ve been found.
As former athletes who played at the collegiate level, we shared some tips on how to gain experience while in college to prepare for life after sports. We also took a look at that first job out of college and making the most of it and joining a professional group to expand your networking contacts among other benefits.
